Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a famous British film and stage actress which gained more attention when she appeared in"Doctor Who," (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu was a huge success on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. The audience loved Gugu's bright enthusiasm. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on February 25 1975 located in Livingston, New Jersey. She was the eldest child in a family of six. Her father was a automobile dealer and her mother, a homemaker. Her mother arrived in America in the year 1958 after emigrating from Germany. Her diagnosis was breast cancer in the year 1989. She died after battling cancer for 10 years. Handler's father was Jewish as was her mother, and she brought up in Reform Judaism. Handler was born in a nice neighborhood, and she had a very joyful childhood. At the age of 19 Handler relocated to Los Angeles, California to explore a career in acting. In order to support her family, Handler began to work as an actor. When she turned age 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy as a full-time profession as she was able to discover her storytelling abilities. Handler began her professional career joining the only female Oxygen group, who was a part of a television show known as Girls Behaving Badly. This series was known for its secret camera and practical joke. It was in air from 2002 to 2005. Handler began appearing on other shows like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a while as a correspondent. Handler got her big break in 2006, when she began running her own talk show for E! named The Chelsea Handler Show. The show lasted 2 seasons. Handler was a performer at the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States following the season. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up show. In 2010 it was confirmed that she would be hosting at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. It was only the second female host of the VMAs, after Roseanne Bar.
