Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since 11 November 1996. Alison Doody made her movie debut as an actress and Bond actress with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. She played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. She was Sapsorrow in the Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She acted alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as a archaeologist from the forensic field in the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The film also starred Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody was a part of three actors in the role of James Bond. Doody was in the British mini-series Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. The film was based on the Hitler Diaries publication scam. Following her move to Hollywood Doody made her an international star. She played Flannery as Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. After a long absence from screen Doody returned to acting with a small role in 2003's British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine acting as herself in an award ceremony scene. She was in the film alongside Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Doody was a part-time actress in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture (2010). The Clinic, a medical drama on RTE. The Asphyx was the 2011 version of her film. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons.
