Aisha Hinds is an American actor best known for playing roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated through 2003 when she has delivered impressive performances in TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, as well as Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her performance as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her portrayal of feminist campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer on the film biographical All the Way that finally made her an actor. Hind was also praised for the role she played as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show is scheduled to be renewed for a second season. Hind has completed the production of the Hollywood blockbuster Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is set to be released by the middle of 2019. The father Krishnaraj is an Army scientist and died the 18th of March, 2017. The mother Vrinda was a domestic worker. Aditya Rao works in the field of merchant navy engineering is her elder sibling. Her younger brother Aditya Rai co-produced Dil Ka Rishta and wrote the song along with Bachchan. Arya Vidya Mandir was the school that Bachchan went to after her family moved to Mumbai. She finished her secondary education in Jai Hind College for a year before enrolling at D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. She scored 90% in her H.S.C. exams. Her adolescence was spent studying ballet and music for five years. Zuology was Bachchan's favorite subject. Bachchan studied Architecture when she became Miss World. The title helped her get into the model industry. In addition, she was offered an impressive contract with L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan gained prominence in her role in the New Bollywood because both films changed the Bollywood film genre completely upside down. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood through her performance as Paro the lover who was betrayed in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among Bollywood's biggest successes. It also was the first film to screen at Cannes Film Festival. Following that she received great acclaim for her portrayal of Chokher Bali (2003) a tense drama that was based on Rabindranath Tagore's story. In that same year she served as the only Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is the musical version and dance version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan's star power and beauty were brought to the first major English-language film. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan married her in April 2007. He's both a Bollywood superstar and a regular co-star.
